WSA 2012 Show: Backstage

Picture heavy post of my favourite pieces and accessories seen backstage on Monday night at the Truman Brewery.

Model Lexi all the way from Brazil. L: Kayleigh Horn  R: Xiaoge Xiu

Lexi again in Lucy Cox

Lucy Cox's designs

Another look from Xiaoge Xiu's collection

Footwear that caught my eye: Topshop platforms from Amy Whitelaw's collection. I am considering on purchasing a pair for this summer as it was very comfortable when I tired it on. Only factor that is stopping me is the thought of the pony the material was sourced from.

Amanda Thompson's outfit. Very Vivienne Westwood. Particularly adore the shrivelled leather gloves in the head wear as they look nothing like gloves.

Very Versace, high street grab from Zara worn by a stunning model from Philippines pictured above.

One of the make up artists form L'Oreal was wearing the MARNI for H&M acrylic flower necklace.

There were very little menswear collections this year as you can see from the running order board in the previous post. This one was my favourite by Shana Lao. I wish more men were confident enough to wear skirts apart from kilts.

WSA 2012 Show: Make up

This year I did not get as excited as the 2011 show for many reasons. Mostly due to the fact I didn't work closely with the third years this time around. However I did go along to help out with the shows in Winchester and London. The images below are from the London Truman Brewery Show that took place on Monday 28th May.

Checklist

various shades

I feel the need to invest in some good quality brushes as my ones are all deteriorating.

More pictures to follow in another post as I have to leave for work now. Classes are over but I still seem to have no time at all. Hope you all enjoy the lovely weather today as I will be stuck inside painting and decorating interiors.

shots

Topshop £70ish..love the rich colour, part of Laura's collection.

Customized shoes for Kim's collection. Unique but I would prefer to wear it plain.
Goggles from lord know when for Rosie's accessories. The helmets were nice too but very small.
Bag with the floppy bow. This particular designer had made all the bags herself. I'm not an expert but I was slightly shocked at the quality. Surely she could have aided the fabric to get more structure. The finishing weren't the neatest either, seen better hand stitching on primark garments. Oh well not my problem I guess lol.

Another of outfit from the floppy bag collection. Cute hat or what?
Olivka doing her thing...Rosie's collection with the helmets and goggles.
